A New Chapter, A New Adventure

Hello Friends and Family,

What a crazy 6 months it has been! We apologize for silence in the blogosphere, but hope that you have been able to follow our photo postings on Facebook. It would take HOURS to recap all the amazing moments we've had with Annabelle and Levi over the past 6 months of their lives. They are a blessing and a gift and not a day goes by that we don't thank our Creator for our two precious gifts.

So instead of trying to recap the last 6 months, we'll simply start in the present and let you know of our new adventure on the horizon. After feeling called to leave our friends and college ministry at Salem E, we have been praying and looking for a new calling and new opportunity to minister to and serve with a church family. After a few months of searching and praying for a new adventure, we have accepted an assignment to pastor the people and community of Glenfair Church in NE Portland/Gresham area. We are VERY excited for this opportunity to get to know such an amazing group of people. The times we have visited and spoke with them, it is obvious that they are a welcoming and loving church that is seeking to reach others with the love of Christ and grow in relationship with God. It will be a great honor and exciting adventure to get to know them and live life together, as we seek to become more of the people God is calling us to be.

So now, we will be moving from Salem into the NE Portland/Gresham area. We will miss our friends and our apartment in Salem. We have been here for quite some time, so the transition will be hard, but it is great to have such an exciting new chapter to begin in our lives. We will also enjoy being closer to our family and be able to share our kids with family and friends.

We will begin our ministry at Glenfair this Sunday, June 11th, and would covet your prayers as we get to know the people and look for places to live. We are so thankful for so many wonderful and supportive people who have been praying for us as we seek to live the Adventure of life that God has laid out for us.

We'll try to improve on keeping you posted as to our life and the amazing new things that our kids are learning to do!

in Christ,
Ryan, Keay, Annabelle and Levi
